Admission to Australian education Institutions

Nepalese students must fulfill specific criteria to enroll in Australian Education Institutions.

As an International student, one must complete the academic and financial requirements to be accepted into a university or college. Universities/colleges have a pre-defined set of admission requirements for students of Nepal, in which English language proficiency is a must.

In addition, students must present proof of funds through financial documents. These financial documents assure educational institutions that the student can afford the standard of living and pay for their annual tuition fees.

Academic Requirements

Coming from a Non-English-speaking world, a student from Nepal needs to prove their proficiency in English to Australian education providers. These students appear for international standard language tests for English, such as IELTS and PTE. Only a handful of universities accept TOEFL scores for English language proficiency.

Apart from English proficiency, students must produce at least a high school graduation certificate to enroll in undergraduate courses. Students with a Bachelor’s degree or higher can enroll in postgraduate studies.

Higher academic study better the chance of post-study work in Australia. Completing studies at a university level as a postgraduate student ensures better opportunities for a post-study work visa. However, a post-study work visa is not granted only based on higher academic standards.

Financial Requirements

Australia offers affordable study experience, but full-time International students must fulfill the requirement of financial stability in the Australian Institutions they enroll in. The students must meet living costs and accommodation costs during their academic studies.
